The plan view is the core of planning. With it, you will be working mainly if you use PLANOUT.

 

 

The planning view is very similar to the project view. The biggest difference between the two is that you can display in the Project view, only one project. Therefore the project view will be stored when the project itself ist saved, so that next time you continue the project where you left it. You can save the plan view as needed and tailored to their personal needs. The settings and actions, you can perform in the menus, are very identical, so here it will be focussed almost exclusively on the design view.
