A desktop running on Linux or other operations systems is possible, as long as there is a JRE 1.7.
PLANOUT can be used on a terminal server enviroment. Each application (resource manager, planning, etc) requires about 1500 MB of memory.
The application server can be run on a virtual server. The following environments are tested.
•Microsoft Virtual PC
•VMWare ESX, Workstation and GSX Server
•Oracle Virtualbox
There are no problems known associated with the virtualization.
